This is a two-storey, wooden residence designed for two households comprising a total of five people. The first floor is divided into two zones: one on the southern side that functions as a relaxation area for the family, and the other on the northern side, comprising the main living area for the grandparents. The two zones are divided by a two-layered space whose flooring is made of FRP grating. This two-layered space is installed with skylights, a movable partition wall, and fans that circulate the air from the loft area down to the first-floor perimeter zone. It functions as a passive zone that allows rising heat to escape outside during the summer, and that circulates air that has been warmed up by the skylights down to the first floor during the winter.
